Our friends at Wife and the Somm, a true dining gem with a wonderful wine list in Glassell Park, are prepping to give guests a reason to brave the heat and go out for a fine wine and dine experience.

 

As the sun lingers a little longer and California's summer harvest reaches its peak, Wife and the Somm invites guests to slow down, gather around the table, and celebrate the season with its new limited-time "Supper Series: Simplicity of Summer" three-course prix-fixe dinner menu, available through Sunday, July 26th.


 

Created as a celebration of summer's freshest ingredients and the simple pleasure of sharing an exceptional meal, Chef Frank Ryan Saporito's thoughtfully curated dining experience features a seasonal, market-driven three-course dinner for $55 per person, with the option to enhance the evening with a Summer Wine Flight ($25 per person) featuring bright, refreshing seasonal selections, or indulge in the Somm Select Wine Pairing ($45 per person), expertly curated by Sommelier Chris Lucchese, to complement each course and elevate every bite.

 

Inspired by the abundance of Southern California's summer harvest, the Wife and the Somm "Supper Series: Simplicity of Summer“ showcases vibrant produce, pristine seafood, premium meats, and beautifully balanced flavors that highlight the restaurant's signature approach to ingredient-driven cooking. Each course is thoughtfully designed to embrace the beauty of seasonal simplicity while delivering the elevated culinary experience that has become synonymous with Wife and the Somm.

Reservations are recommended for this limited-time offering. To ensure a seamless and elevated dining experience for all, each guest at the table will participate in the three-course prix-fixe offering.

 

Wife and the Somm is located at 3416 Verdugo Road in Glassell Park.  Open Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm; Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 10pm; and Sunday from 3pm to 9pm.  Brunch is served every Sunday from 11am to 3pm. Call (323) 739-0058.
