PORTA VIA RESTAURANTS - COME CELEBRATE VALENTINE’S DAY

For anyone looking for a cozy and comfy place to celebrate Valentine’s Day not to mention Galentine’s Day and Palentine’s Day need look no further than Peter Garland’s Porta Via restaurants.



Known as a neighborhood California bistro and bar, Porta Via restaurants are located in Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Calabasas, and Palm Desert making sure everybody everywhere can celebrate in style. For 30 years, proprietor Peter Garland has been delighting the palates of his loyal customers.

 

Garland aptly sums up his food philosophy in one sentence: “combine the best seasonal, organic ingredients and prepare them simply.”


This Valentine’s Day, as well as Galentine’s and Palentine’s, Porta Via is offering prix fixe options for lovers and friends on February 13 and 14.



For unaware foodies, Porta Via is a contemporary California bistro and bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, offering Italian-inspired cuisine. The menu is designed to be both classic and creative, with just the right amount of imagination to give patrons the feeling they’re at a “special” place.​ A regular at many of Southern California farmer’s markets, Garland and his staff hand-pick produce to ensure that only the finest food is served at his restaurants. Wild-caught seafood and “all natural” meats are brought in daily, and the wine program includes nearly 150 wines from around the world, including a private consignment of mature Classed-Growth Bordeaux.

 

This Valentine’s Day, Porta Via will offer prix fixe meals for $85 per person, served all day Tuesday, February 13 and Wednesday, February 14.


First Course:

Potato Leek Soup - Chive Garnish; or

Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad - Granny Smith Apples, Dried Cranberries, Shaved Parmigiano, and Honey Mustard Vinaigrette



Second Course:

Grass Fed Filet Mignon - Parmigiano Truffle Fries and Green Peppercorn Sauce; or

Butternut Squash Tortellini - Organic Arugula and White Wine Sage Cream Sauce; or

Miso-Glazed Black Cod - Roasted Baby Bok Choy, Jasmine Rice, Toasted Sesame, and Scallions

 


Duo of Porta Via’s Sweets:

Black Out Chocolate Cake - Dark Chocolate Layer Cake Filled with Chocolate Mousse and Topped with Dark Chocolate; and Coconut Crème Brûlée - Toasted Coconut Custard Topped with Crunchy Caramelized Sugar
