The 31st annual San Diego Latino Film festival just had their kickoff event at Novo Brazil Brewery in mission Valley. This year’s festival will have several world premiers and celebrations of films, actors and directors throughout.
The incredible film lineup will enchant and beckon you to see more .The special events this year include 10th Anniversary celebration of the film The Book of Life with Q and A with the director Jorge Gutierrez!

The Media Arts Center San Diego was at first only the festival. As the festival grew its founders created a community resource center that today touch many lives year around. The media programs have grown to be included in some local public school curriculums. The Teen Producers project and the workforce initiative are especially impactful.
