Manhattan Beach Food & Wine Fest Turns Two

South Bay foodies, and anyone willing to travel for great eats, get ready as Manhattan Beach Food & Wine is coming back for another two-night strolling culinary extravaganza. The second annual food and wine festival will take place this fall on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13.

Last year, folks were wowed with the inaugural festival, which was held at Manhattan Village, a 40,000-square-foot outdoor space, where guests were could roam and taste eats and sips to their heart’s content.

Event Founder Shelby Russell and Culinary Curator and host Chef Neal Fraser have put together an all-star lineup of 40 chefs. The two-night event kicks off with an Opening Night Celebration on Friday, September 12 and Grand Tasting on Saturday, September 13. Each evening will bring together the industry’s top tastemakers and culinary and beverage connoisseurs to celebrate an all-star lineup of 20 of the best chefs and restaurants each night, illustrious wineries, premier spirits, handcrafted cocktails, craft breweries, live entertainment, and much more.
Manhattan Beach Food & Wine’s event beneficiary is Culinary Careers Program (C-CAP). Long co-chaired by chef Marcus Samuelsson, C-CAP is a workforce development nonprofit that provides underserved teens pathways to pursue careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Annually, C-CAP provides culinary, job and life skills in 186 schools across the United States as well as across the entire state of Arizona, as well as in Baltimore, Camden, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Long Island, Newark, Philadelphia, suburban Maryland, and Washington DC.

This year’s partners include Delta Air Lines as the official airline, westdrift Manhattan Beach as the official hotel, and Manhattan Village as the official shopping and dining center, San Pellegrino as the official water, Chef Works as the official hospitality apparel, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove as the official kitchen appliance, and Southern California Restaurant Design Group as the official commercial kitchen designer.

Guests are encouraged to utilize car services as the event serves alcoholic beverages. Walking to the event is encouraged, with complimentary parking also available at Manhattan Village.

The 2nd Annual Manhattan Beach Food & Wine will take place at Manhattan Village, located at 3500 N. Sepulveda Boulevard, on Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13. This is a 21+ event. A DELTA VIP Early Entry Pass will be from 6pm to 7pm and regular admission will be from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets are on-sale now.
