Foodies who love a good cause will want to save the date of Sunday, June 8 as AbilityFirst has announced its 51st Annual Food & Wine Festival, which will take place once again at the lovely Urquhart Residence in South Pasadena.

This premier tasting event will bring together top local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and distilleries for an evening of exceptional flavors, entertainment and philanthropy.

Proceeds from this year’s Food & Wine Festival directly benefit AbilityFirst programs, which help children and adults build confidence, skills, and independence to reach their full potential, while ensuring equitable access for those who are low income, come from diverse cultures, or speak languages other than English.

For 99 years, AbilityFirst has supported individuals with disabilities by focusing on abilities and expanding possibilities. AbilityFirst’s person-centered programs empower individuals to discover what is important to them in their lives, and to develop the skills that are important for them to achieve their goals.

The organization provides a lifeline of stability for children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Proceeds will directly support job training and career coaching; after-school enrichment and life skills development; respite and recreational programs for individuals and caregivers.

The 51st Annual AbilityFirst Food & Wine Festival will take place on Sunday, June 8 at the Urquhart Residence in South Pasadena from 5pm to 8pm. Click here to buy tickets.
