FILMMAKER KEVIN SMITH CELEBRATES
A HAT TRICK OF DVD RELEASES

Heralded filmmaker, screenwriter, actor, film producer, comic book writer, author, comedian/raconteur and Internet radio personality Kevin Smith is hosting a special premiere party and live podcast in honor of his upcoming Shout! Factory DVD releases of Too Fat For 40, SModimations: Season One and his latest film Red State, all in stores October 18.

At the party, taking place at The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to watch SModimations followed by Jay, a fan favorite from Smith’s Clerks film, interviewing Smith’ very own Silent Bob! Yes, that’s right, actor Jason Mewes will interview his silent, heavy half on stage before turning the mics to the crowd. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

There will also be a costume contest and the top three fans that dress up as their favorite SModco, SModimations or Red State characters will win a prize.

Attendance is limited to the first 100 people who purchase autographed DVDs from Smith’s site (click here). There are four Shout Party Ticket packages available and the first 30 fans to purchase the deluxe version will enjoy a private meet & greet with Smth before the show.

Kevin Smith’s Shout Party will take place Wednesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club located at Universal City.
